Jerome Gilson, a senior shareholder at Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, and Anne Gilson LaLonde have published an article titled "The Zombie Trademark: A Windfall and a Pitfall" which appeared on the December 15, 2008 issue of The TTA Blog, the online blog for the International Trademark Association. The article discussed businesses that resurrect old trademarks to enhance the public image of new trademarks.
