Jerold Jacover, a shareholder at Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione and the firm’s immediate past president, was featured in the “Amicus Curious” column in the May 5, 2008 issue of the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin regarding the debut of his first novel, Merkle’s Curse – why the Cubs have not won a World Series since 1908. The book is a fictional novel chronicling the storied curse of the Chicago Cubs. A book signing event was held at Brinks on May 1, 2008 in conjunction with the release of the book.
