Brinks Hosts 2009 Indian American Bar Association of Chicago Installation Ceremony

Mehta, president-elect of IABA, hosted the 2009 Indian American Bar Association (IABA) of Chicago's Board of Directors Installation Ceremony which was held on January 28, 2009. The event took place at Brinks' Chicago office. Board members will serve a one-year term in their current positions. The IABA-Chicago was established in 2000 as an association to serve the South Asian legal community in Chicago. Since its inception, the members of IABA-Chicago have organized mentor programs for South Asian law students, participated in a pro bono clinic, organized a luncheon-speaker series, developed and enhanced various methods of communication to foster improved interaction among the members of the organization, and created a membership directory for the South Asian legal community.
