Christopher M. Dolan
Mr. Dolan has substantial trial experience in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois and for the Western District of Michigan in both jury trials and bench trials. Mr. Dolan's primary expertise is in trademark disputes and he has also litigated trade secret, licensing, breach of contract, patent and trade dress cases. He has extensive experience in contentious matters before the United States Patent and Trademark Office's Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and in ICANN domain name dispute proceedings, regularly representing clients from a wide range of industries and endeavors in such matters. Mr. Dolan also counsels and manages his clients' trademark portfolios in the U.S. and abroad. His experience includes appellate matters before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Mr. Dolan has represented clients such as Motorola, Inc., Progressive Casualty Insurance Company, Amway, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, Yahoo!, Jockey International, Inc., Herman Miller, Inc., GoTo.com, Inc., Aero Products International, Inc. (makers of the AEROBED®), National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of the United States and Danjaq, LLC (owner of film and merchandising rights in the James Bond 007 film franchise), among others.
