Bonnie R. Shaw
Ms. Shaw focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation and patent prosecution. Ms. Shaw’s litigation experience includes taking and defending depositions, drafting a variety of legal documents, and arguing in court. In addition to litigation activities, Ms. Shaw prepares and prosecutes domestic and international patent applications in the mechanical, biomedical, and electrical arts. She also conducts opinion analyses and drafts agreements.

- Quixtar Inc. v. Signature Management Team, et al. (D. Nev. 2007 - present). Trade secret misappropriation and tortious interference claims. The case is pending.
- Goldman v. Healthcare Management Systems, Inc., et al. (W.D. Mich. 2005). Counsel for plaintiff in action alleging copyright infringement and trade secret misappropriation of computer software for management of hospital patient records. Case involved highly technical programming source code and extensive forensic recovery of electronic data. Obtained a settlement over $3 million, believed to be one of the largest software copyright infringement settlements on behalf of a programmer ever awarded.
